Profdoc eDocuments is an eService that is used to move patient related documents between doctors systems. These documents may be referral letters, reports and even images.
This is useful when referring a patient to a colleague. It is quick and easy to use and reduces the need for otherwise manual processes.
Additionally, correspondence is tracked to help you know that your letter is received and accepted, if the patient did get the requested appointment/treatment and to help you see if you have received all expected reports back.
This tracking facility also helps you monitor your own incoming referrals.
