Receive lab results fast and directly into the patients file.
Pathology results are electronically received directly into Profdoc Medical Office (PMO) as soon as they are released by the lab. They are automatically imported into and become part of the specific patient’s clinical record and linked to the original order. Values can be presented in comparative graphs and/or tables. Results falling outside of their reference ranges are clearly “flagged” for your further attention. Your pathology order form can also be generated directly from within PMO.
This service provides significant time savings in your laboratory work as it is a quick and convenient way for you to generate orders and manage and track outstanding orders. Your manual work is significantly reduced as the details of your patients and of your practice is automatically populated on the order which also reduces the risk for errors. You receive results faster and the possibility of results “going missing” is reduced. Managing of results by all staff is hereby enhanced and without risking confidentiality.
