Sales consultant in Gauteng

In order to meet our ambitious objectives in South Africa, Profdoc is looking for equally ambitious sales consultants based in the Gauteng region. You will be part of a growing sales team, but must be capable to work independently.

With fast growing interest in our products and services, we need to further to strengthen our sales organisation. We are looking self-motivated persons.

For success in this position, you must genuinely enjoy communicating with professionals. You are a good communicator and have excellent standards in English.

As a candidate you are self-driven, competitive and have a proven track record and experience of working independently.

You are a good communicator and realise that long-term client relationships are the key to success. You express yourself well in both written and spoken English.

You are comfortable with and talented at presenting to large and small audiences.

This position requires travelling and reports directly to the Managing Director. 

Start date: As soon as possible, preferably by end March 2010.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Initiating customer contact by phone, mail and personal visits.
  • Sales presentations to potential customers.
  • Presentation of offers and contract follow-up.
  • Budgeting, strategy and target monitoring work.
  • Assisting and motivating the sales team in their duties.
  • Presenting products at trade fairs and other gatherings.
  • Finalising sales.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience with documented results.
  • Extensive prospecting experience
  • A strong general knowledge of software and computers. 
  • Own reliable transport and driver’s license.
  • Presentable, motivated and enthusiastic
  • Good communication and negotiating skills.

Preferred

  • Medical background
  • Experience in sales in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in sales of IT solutions.
  • Experience in sales in technical sales.
