Sales Team Leader

We are looking an ambitious person experienced in sales to join and lead our sales team.

With fast growing numbers of users, we need to further to strengthen our sales organisation. We are looking self-motivated persons to join our office in Stellenbosch.

For this position, you must genuinely enjoy leading and insiring others. You are a good communicator and have excellent standards in English. You will lead and work directly with our experienced sales team.

  • As a candidate you are self-driven, competitive and have a proven track record and experience of working independently.
  • You are a good communicator and realise that long-term client relationships are the key to success. You express yourself well in both written and spoken English.
  • You are comfortable with and talented at presenting to large and small audiences.
  • The successful candidate will work nationally and be fully responsible for key accounts in the healthcare industry and leading the sales team.
  • This position requires travelling and reports directly to the Managing Director. 

Start date: March.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Initiating customer contact by phone, mail and personal visits.
  • Sales presentations to potential customers.
  • Presentation of offers and contract follow-up.
  • Management of sales team.
  • Budgeting, strategy and target monitoring work.
  • Assisting and motivating the sales team in their duties.
  • Presenting products at trade fairs and other gatherings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience with documented results.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or as sale team Leader
  • Extensive prospecting experience
  • A strong general knowledge of software and computers. 
  • Own reliable transport and driver’s license.
  • Presentable, motivated and enthusiastic.

Preferred

  • Medical background
  • Experience in sales in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in sales of IT solutions.
  • Experience in sales in technical sales.
