More than 1 million healthcare messages are processed through eServices from CGM LINK each day.
Our eServices safely connect the users systems to other systems and services over a high security connection, allowing them to share sensitive information with each other.
The safe share-and-exchange technology for information transfer is provided by the Profdoc service platform, LINK.
LINK makes it easy for large and small healthcare providers and service providers to use the same sophisticated services. Healthcare providers, patients and service suppliers to healthcare can share and exchange information with a minimum of investment and technical administration.
Our ambition is to allow healthcare providers and their service suppliers to communicate securely with each other wherever they are.
Some of our eServices |
Pathology results are electronically received directly into Profdoc Medical Office (PMO) as soon as they are released by the lab. They are automatically imported into and become part of the specific patient’s clinical record and linked to the original order. Values can be presented in comparative graphs and/or tables. Results falling outside of their reference ranges are clearly “flagged” for your further attention. Your pathology order form can also be generated directly from within PMO. The major private pathology laboratories in South Africa are currently connected to our service with others on the way. |
eTransfer is an eService used to send patients casebooks between systems and is useful when referring a patient to a colleague, sending a casebook when a patient re-locates to another place and between schools using Profdoc. This service can send singular or multiple casebooks. It is quick and easy to make the transfer and reduces the need for manual process such as photocopying or scanning. |
SMS Direct is an efficient way for you to send SMS messages to patients, colleagues, next-of-kin and to others directly from within Profdoc. The messages can automatically collect patient specific details if required. The highest priority status of all our SMS communications means that the message is correctly delivered and that it arrives in good time. |
SMS Reminders reduce the risk of patients missing their appointments and offers them a higher quality of service. You save costs incurred from other manual methods of reminding your patients and simultaneously reduce the number of phone calls from patients who have forgotten their appointments. SMS Reminders are to be sent directly from your appointment book to your patients one day prior to the appointment. Your patient only receives one message irrespective of how many times the appointment is changed. |
Web Appointments allows your patients to make their own appointments securely via the Internet. You control and determine the times and duration of appointments available for selection. From available appointments, your patients may select the time that suites them best and the booking is then entered into the practice appointment book together with their details. This makes you more accessible and extends your services to your patients in their own time as it is available 24 hours a day. Web Appointment bookings can reduce administrative tasks such as answering the phone to make appointments and calling patients to make appointments.
|
eDocuments allows you to send information and images directly from your patients casebook to another Profdoc user. This is far more efficient than typing or handwriting a referral letter, episode sumary or other detail about your patients comdition. The sysetm also keeps a track of correspondence that has still to be replied to. You may aslo send drawings and photographs to supprt written information. |
The eServices are monitored, audited, and compliant to the requirements specified in ISO 17799, ISO 17025, and ENV 13606.
The CGM research and development organisation is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001: 2008 certified and is CE marked.
